BIO
Jeremy Ezell is breaking onto the music scene championing a rare brand of passionate, honest, pop/rock on his debut release 'of Love and Law', available 2009. A year ago Jeremy left his long term project, Wilson Empire, to begin the task of building a new direction for his music. With years of experience touring the southeast, opening spots for national artists, and 2 very successful independent recordings, Jeremy's goals remain quite simple: to write, record, and tour winning the affection of audiences with his intelligent lyrics and infectious melody. Those same lyrics and melody caught the attention of Producer Dan Hannon (Manchester Orchestra, Aaron Shust), who lent his hand to 5 of the 9 tracks comprising the soundscape that is 'of Love and Law'. His songs have garnered him bestsongwriter titles and praises from press and fans alike. Jeremy says "I paint life with words and sound." Elizabeth Cline of New York Magazine writes " A Jeremy Ezell song is high drama and pop contagion. His songs are stories of heartache and faith that follow unapologetically in the footsteps of futurists like Phil Collins, Muse, and Radiohead."
The new year will send Jeremy Ezell into an exciting schedule of touring, promotion, and possibly recording. Plans for a full-on Southeast tour are already in the works, with follow-ups spanning the east coast. Jeremy will also be working on new material for his next full-length attempt. "Writing is a huge part of my passion. I love performing, but writing is where I get to create what I eventually perform." Ezell's prolificacy for quality music has earned him a valued reputation among his peers and has made him a go-to for co-writes.
